Iverson Black Herefords offers top-quality cattle with strong genetics. We use select bulls (JO Bulls — Castle Dale, UT; Ethan Olson — Bowman, ND) and proven females from lines like Great Cow, PowerBall, Home Town, Sod Buster, Lambeau 17Y, Frontier 174E, TH Strategy 249D, HH Advance 6215D, HH Advance 6045, HL Miss Atomic 431B, and HL MS Advance R. It all started in 2019 with our first Reg Herefords from River Bank Ranch

     Fall 2018, when the calves were sold, we realized change was needed. The sale barn split steers by color and paid red baldies 45¢ less. As commercial cattlemen, we tried many bulls — Charolais, Red Angus, Black Angus, Black Simmental — and found most focused on yearling weight by adding depth but shortening length. Black baldies stood out, weighing 50–80 lb more at weaning. There’s steady demand for black baldie heifers.
